Elegant and intimate wedding in Villa Bonn, Frankfurt am Main

Hello dear friends here we meet again in the middle of the wedding season. It’s getting harder and harder to write so often on my blog. I will try although to write at least once a month 🙂 Today we will come back to as a wedding photographer in Frankfurt, this time right in Frankfurt city center, for an elegant and intimate wedding in Villa Bonn. I started a bit early with the groom preparations in their lovely apartment with an amazing view of the Frankfurt skyline.  Them I found out that he is a passionate driver and rider, I couldn’t stop myself to snap a photo with his babies 🙂 After that we quickly drove to the villa where our gorgeous bride was almost ready.

Elegant and intimate wedding ceremony in Villa Bonn,

The Villa is superb but the rooms are arranged like conference rooms. So I had to move a few tables to organize a corner where we could photograph our bride. A short mention to my future brides: I use to move pieces of furniture through the house.. and forget  to put  them back – please forgive me, I swear, it’s for the photos! The ceremony was downstairs in the wonderful lobby. It was emotional and they sealed their vows in envelopes.

The photo shoot we have scheduled right after the cake so, because of the strong sun I chose to first have some photos inside the villa and then in the Palmengarten which was nearby. The big park offers a lot of wonderful spots for photography, even inside the palm greenhouse was really nice! They even had a waterfall! After that we went to the Old Opera House and back quickly to the wedding  location.

There was a lot of speeches, wine, good food and ..of course – dance! It was a funny story regarding their first dance. They choose to have some smoke machine during the first dance. At the villa there are fire sensors. These sensors connect directly to the Fire Department. But the fire alarm can’t be disconnected. So they announced the Fire Department that there will be an alarm coming from the villa that evening. I could only imagine during the first dance the fire squad jumping through the door with a fire extingusher! Luckily that happened just in my imagination.
